I am a Waynes long time fan and I visis LilWayneHQ everyday, but I just recently created account and joined the forum so I thought I could share my experience with G.O.A.Ts live concert.
I am from Czech Republic (it is in Europe, next to Germany for those who dont know) so my chances of seeing Wayne here are almost nothing, hes never been here. So when he toured Europe two years or three years ago I figured it could be my last chance to see my favourite artist. I bought tickets to Stuttgart for the show and tickets to Amsterdam straight from there. It seemed like a dream trip.
When I arrived to Germany and to the concert hall after that (it wasnt big, like 2-3k people), i bought one beer and went closest to the stage I could. After one hour standing there with my friends DJ starts playing some songs and it goes for another hour and half. Now the show should have started like hour ago, so I was wondering what is happening. Then he started to play Lil Waynes songs, which has kind of ruined atmosphere, but ok, didnt really matter to me, i was about to see him for the first time. Or not? Then some members of his crew started to run on the stage and back to the vip section. We kinda saw inthere (it was on balcony) but not wayne. Then we saw Hoodiebaby and Gudda coming down to stage and back to VIP.
I was like: Fuck, hes too high or some shit. Because he surely arrived as his squad was there. Then we waited for another 90 minutes, and after 4 a half hours of standing there (and smoking 4 doobies - funny fact - i had like 8 joints prerolled from home and I offered few puffs to people around me, noone has even thought about it, they were scared like i was holding a gun. In Czech we smoke it with the 5-0 almost, noone cares, only selling 2 much is problem. In germany its like 300-600 EUR fine I think, but on Lil Waynes concert who cares?) Weezy finally arrived. Full of energy, probably sniffed like 2 grams of coke before turning up, but it was hell of a show. One of best memories of my entire life, and the trip to Amsterdam after that was just an icing on the cake.
I still have my fingers crossed that Weezy does one more Europe tour, without Blink ofc.
P.S.: He brought Gudda and Hoddie to do few songs and it was crazy good, i personaly think Gudda is good, Hoddie not so much, but the vibe was mfkn hard.
