  • Is SFTW a classic?

SFTW is fire. Rollin, Gucci Gucci (especially the 2nd verse), Sure Thing, Tunechi's Back, Sorry 4 The Wait etc are all fire.
Wayne is the only dude that can turn an Adele song into a straight banger.

You concider this a classic or no?
I say yes, because of the quality, and nostalgia.

No. Rollin is amazing and Tunechis Back and Racks are nice but the lyrics and features are bad

I don't either but I do love a lot of songs on it and agree about what he did with Rolling in the Deep being super cool. I just think classic is a really high standard to meet for Wayne. And I feel you on the nostalgia

The lyrics are pretty basic for the most part, but beat selection and voice was on point. Solid tape but far from a classic.

as much as i enjoy many of those tracks, best part about SFTW (and 2) is wayne knowing he has to apologize to us for tez, mack & team

"Tez pushed the album back, sorry for the wait" is a classic line.

Idk, it's vintage Weezy and it's one of the most nostalgic tapes for me. I've never thought of it as a classic though, feels like a casual short tape. How does one really determine a classic though?

Real question... Was Lil B a serious artist?

He has some serious songs outside of the bs.
