Hey y'all... I do this series on my blog (look here) where I look at an artist's discography and try to pick the best or my favourite song of every track number on his albums, make a playlist about it, explain my choices, etc. etc.
(You can see what the playlists looked like for Kanye West (pre-YE) and Vince Staples (pre-FM).)
That means the first song of the playlist will be my favourite first song on every album of this artist's career, the second song on the playlist my favourite track no. 2 on an album of his. You can't pick two songs that were No. 8 on two different albums because they're both great, and you can't skip, say, song No. 14 because you don't like any of them. It's kinda silly rules but whatever, I enjoy it.
And now I'm about ready to roll it out for Wayne this week. I'll look only at his studio albums and not the mixtapes because this is hard enough as it is, and I'll pick one song per day for 25 days (no studio album of his has more than 25 songs).
Come back tomorrow for my first choice.
