They were really big basketball players at one point. But their careers were really short and they ended up going across seas. no one really ever heard of them since.
They only played like 2 years in the league after being a top 10 pick and a 2nd round pick

I am not a sports person so the only reason I was aware of the O'Bannons and the idea that they were MIA was because one of them was behind a big lawsuit against the NCAA for colleges profiting off athletes' photos (ie. marketing) without paying them. All the news coverage suggested it was kind of ironic because their careers were so meh. Anyway OBannon won the lawsuit and it resulted in an exception to the general rule that college athletes cannot be paid. Went all the way to the Supreme Court too. And the best part all the news coverage was constantly mentioning Lil Wayne and that Cannon line.
