I am sooooo curious about the concept of Wayne performing in Saudi Arabia. Like were there girls there? I imagine the large, large majority of people in the crowd were men given the religious orientation of the country...that must be super strange for him. And I am frankly shocked he was even allowed in regardless of weed, I feel like they would see his mere presence as subversive and an assault on all of their values? Apparently not though?

Money corrupts. A those that have it think the rules don’t apply to them. Even if it’s their own rules. I’m more stocked that so many celebs risk going there. My ex was offered a huge amount of money to work there once and immediately turned it down, it’s just not worth it.
              None

Lately they've been trying to improve their image in the west, having arts festivals, inviting American and European performers. Rappers especially seem ignorant of what a brutal dictatorship it is or just don't care as long as they don't think they'll be affected. Nicki was gonna perform there recently but cancelled it after getting backlash from her female and gay fanbase. If Nicki was from Saudi doing what she does she'd be dead.

Yes, have heard their royal family engages in underground drugs, strip clubs/escort services etc...but stoning and jail for everyone else

For women especially I feel like it is so risky to go there, even if you are a celebrity with security. This is a country where women get kidnapped off the street, raped and killed. Journalists murdered etc...like even if you want the money and chance to perform and even if you don't care that it offends your fans, I still feel like there is a major physical safety risk? Glad to hear Nikki cancelled it
