  • As far as complete songs goes The Suffix is probably the best Wayne mixtape

Many of Waynes meaningful songs are here. It has everything, gangsta songs, party songs, meaningful songs, soulful songs.
The only "weak" song is Gold Digger(Give Head)
And let's not forget that this is the mixtape that has Dear Summer in it.
The songs feel more complete than Waynes other mixtapes like D2 and DD3 which are mostly straight bars and hard rapping.
The Suffix feels like the mixtape version of Carter 2

Suffix is a beautiful piece of art, no question
But its hard to pick a single mixtape from wayne and call it the best
Taste is subjective but its definitely up there

it sounds more like what an album is supposed to
like alot / most of the songs got hooks, 2-3 verse structure

I think it's definitely his most cohesive mixtape for sure. The beat selection isn't all over the place like most of his other tapes and it follows a general trap theme very well. Not to mention, like you said, it has the variety of songs that all rap albums should have. It's got the bar-heavy songs, emotional/deep songs, the hard gangster songs, etc. The songs also have structure to them as well, which helps it stand out from his other "going in for 3 minutes straight no hooks" approach he's known for. Everything considered, it's probably the most "album-sounding" mixtape in Wayne's discography IMO.
