dude come on dont give me that. when i think of wayne RAPPING i think no ceilings/d4/d5/ianahb 1&2/c2/c3/c4. EVERYTHING he has done recently has required some form of autotune. to me, the SECOND autotune touches it, thats no longer rapping. autotune creates a sing-song melody, which is all he has been doing for the last 5 years. i havent heard him just go off literally since ianahb2 era. everything after that has had horrible quality autotune on it when it doesnt need it. glory is a perfect example. if that song had no autotune on it it would be 100000000000X better & make it sound like hes actually rapping, but for some reason they threw autotune on it & ruined his voice for no reason.

D6 was all autotune & his voice was higher than ive ever heard it. couldnt tolerate that mixtape or d6r. both were awful.

Melodic rapping > just rapping. I'm personally tired of people just yelling out of key over beats. Wayne elevated hip hop and made it more musical.

I actually can't imagine liking something LESS because it's melodic. MUSIC is good.

the autotune is doing a lot though its making wayne's voice irritating as shit. when wayne actually SINGS with autotune thats a whole different story. paradice / brand new/ i'll die for you / etc. those are SONGS. anyone can rap and throw autotune on top of it in a random key & thats exactly what wayne & his producers decide to do & it has continued to ruin songs that could have been amazing since 2015. go listen to sh!t & tell me if that song needed autotune. it's in the completely wrong key and makes wayne's voice sound like nails on a chalkboard. unless he is actually singing there is no need for autotune on any of his songs.
