OK, I have now had time to go through about half of Wayne's albums and mixtapes that I downloaded since late December, at this point having gone backward from the present through 2014. I said that after I listened to a bunch of these I would pass on my reactions to them. This has been the bomb as far as a project - what great music overall! It has been heaven hearing these, most of them for the first time. Some of the songs I already knew, most I didn't. I listened to each song once or twice and made a quick note of whether I immediately liked it. That could very well change, as I have found that repeated playing usually makes me like certain songs more. I don't know which of the following is correct as far as the actual year these were put out, whether these were actual mixtapes or just mixtapes done by local denizens of the Forum, and if this is the correct number of songs for each project - please correct me (as I am sure you will) if I am wrong. I am listing the year I have assumed the project was put out and then how many of the songs I liked immediately. I won't go into the specifics because everyone gets downright hostile if their favorite song isn't listed, but this is just my own personal opinion and has nothing to do with reality, and if I don't like the songs you like I am obviously just an asshole, right?
But give me a damn break, wouldja? I've always believed that I am allowed to like what I like, no matter what other people say, so chill.

Out of the above projects there were only three that I didn't immediately quite like the majority of songs, and these were The IANAHB2 (Lost Grails) mixtape, The Lost Grails mixtape, and Sorry 4 the Wait 2 mixtape. EDIT #1: Sorry, but Sorry 4 the Wait 2 shouldn't have been here - I put the wrong numbers up)
EDIT #2 - Ha! And IANAHBII (Lost Grails) mixtape and The Lost Grails mixtape turns out to be the same damn thing except for one song, so at least I was consistent with my self) - duh!
So my homework assignment is half done, and thank those of you who provided these songs. I am most grateful.
P.S. Thank God we aren't all clones and like the exact same music. What I like most about Weezy's music is his versatility.
But give me a damn break, wouldja? I've always believed that I am allowed to like what I like, no matter what other people say, so chill.
