  • The Carter III Sessions is one of the best things to have happened in Hip Hop

And I hadn't even listened to all of it till I joined HQ and downloaded it from the downloads section this year..!!

But seriously, wtf happened to this kind of hip hop? Like I have nothing against the new artists but 2006-2008 wayne was a whole different monster. It saddens me that the new gen will never be able to appreciate the CIII sessions.... doesn't help that it isn't an "official" project either.

Is it never gonna be possible to get these songs on official streaming platforms like spotify??

Anyways, I know this might be way back for some on here, but how'd ya'll end up listening to the sessions? And wht were your initial impressions? Favourite song? etc

I just really love this collection man

It is a classic collection of tracks!
It will never be on streaming because of sample clearances, some of the tracks were not finished, and its over 13 years old!
The StreetRunner remastered tracks on Soundcloud are as close as we will get.
