How can Wayne fix his career? (Serious / genuine question)

I feel like he also needs to stop indiscriminately taking whatever beats get sent to him as a courtesy to the million people sending him beats. I feel he treats his music as social a little bit and an opportunity for him to elevate others, which I get that, that's cool but I wish he was a bit more selective

I do also agree his image & promo are issues but feel Wayne is ultimately responsible for that. He is a grown man almost 40. Either you are an adult that treats your career serious or you are an overgrown child fucking around letting someone else do thought leadership, and he is definitely the latter. Can't say I blame him, he deserves to live his life as desired, esp after all he has accomplished & being able to coast, but I think Mack & less so Cortez are likely in an impossible situation with him a lot of the time. How would one even begin to manage him? Sounds like a nightmare tbh, man's a loose cannon

Relatedly I am sure that Wayne himself is responsible for Piano Trap & Not Me being a skate video. He is the one responsible for Wowzers being on IANAHB2. To my point above, surely that was related to Trina feature...

It is sad because I agree his music is still great. It's so out of view though, even the official stuff, fucking tragedy

Yo this a good point though. As much as I love to hate on Mack and Cortez (they usually deserve it too) Wayne has his faults too. Funeral would probably be one of the biggest example of this. I don't hate the album but overall it wasn't well received by fans, even though Wayne was apparently more involved this time.
