  • The reason why 6 foot is so good, yet so overrated

Hear me out. I'm as big of a lover of 6f7 as much as anybody here, it was the song that single handedly repositioned him on top in my eyes, and certified that Carter 4 as a classic before we found out it actually wasn't one. The thing is, the thing that made this song so good itfp, has gotten old now. The as we come to know it as the "high pitched" Wayne originated here. Believe it or not. It was the first time of me hearing a squeaky delivery from him, and his voice sounded higher and (Idk how else to put this, GAYER) Than it ever sounded. It was the first thing made apparent to me the first time I listened to it back in 2010. The thing is, this was FRESH at the time. Cuz it added a sort of rawness to his verse since he had been locked up prior for 9 months or so. It was interesting to say the least, coupled with his most insane bars yet, and it quickly became my favorite song.

Now I can't bear the thought of listening to the song. His bars are WEAK if I compare it to his stuff now. And I honestly think the beat saved him more than he saved it. Beat the beat up or get beat up? Huh? big bad wolf and life of Mr. Carter are both lyrically WAAAYY better. And the beat disallows replay value.

Pretty much what I would've said if I was shorter and to the point with my words.

high pitch Wayne originated on the Fire Flame remix imo, I remember playing it in class during break and several classmates commented on his voice, one of them said he must have gotten fucked in the ass in jail lol

His voice was high-pitched back in No Ceilings.

You're absolutely right. Fire flame completely skipped my memory. That is the original originator
