C3: The Leak, official mixtape???

found this old CD while visiting fam, played it on a roadtrip and to my surprise there are Birdman and Lil Wayne skits in there, they're both shouting out DJ Ideal, Wayne even said get your weed ready before Kush started playing, and there is a skit there where Wayne talks about this groupie trying to videotape herself giving head to Wayne.

I know we consider the W Carter tapes official because of the phoned in skits. Well these skits and parts where Wayne and Baby talks over the songs are recorded in the studio, crisp and clear. I remember Wayne talking about dropping a Carter 3 Leak mixtape in 2007, this mixtape dropped in 2007, is this it?

I'm thinking maybe Wayne told DJ Ideal to collect the C3 leaks, make a tape out of it and then Wayne and Baby will sponsor it? because there are some tracks in there that doesn't belong to the Carter 3 Sessions. Love me or Hate me is in terrible quality too, but they're all NO DJ.

W. Carter's differentiate from that because Wayne was actually claiming it as something he was part of (on MTV he said HE and Mick Boogie got a tape out) - whereas these are tapes where Wayne does a quick drop - like the stevie J tapes.

ima give it a listen in a bit but im guessing Bbay and Wayne hosted a mixtape way back in day for DJ Ideal and he recycled the skits

Da Bottom is a tape series DJ Ideal has and rappers would do drops on those tapes

This one has drops from Chamillionaire and Slim Thug

Wayne prob did similar drops, and DJ ideal chopped them up and placed them in various places on this tape
same for Baby

Every other skit including the Dumb Hoe's one is from "Droppin Knowledge 1" - you prob have it as a C1 session. A 7 minute skit leftover from C1. so Yeah - not official - still cool to have the Da Bottom drop tho
