yup and it deff was recorded around like 2012-2014 because you can hear him say devol around 4min19seconds. the lyrics on the youtube vid i posted say he says velvet but its not. so as ive been saying for a while he is clearly capable of sounding like this when he actually tries & wants to.

i feel this is 2017 wayne and i think he says VELVET at 4 min 19 seconds it would make sense because i need you and nothing without you feat hoody had the same lyrics and 2-17 is when he was working with hoody on VELVET, DOPE DILLION EP and LAT LOL thats atleast what i hearing but seems to me a YANNY'LAUREL situation im hearing both depending what i listen for this is tripping me tf out

i think this is just a classic case of different mastering and tones of singing
