i dont think this a good place for this conversation though because as a wayne page we are bias to wayne
He has 10,000 C5 streams, can’t get a non-biased opinion out of him

Ohh u mean in general? Then he really only has one being C3. C1 is a wayne classic, like a classic in his discography, I feel like quality wise it’s dope. But no impact. C2 is close tho but honestly not many have heard it and not quite classic quality wise. Like nothing really stood out. Still outside of c1 prob his most solid performance on an album if not the most solid

But c3 is beyond classic. From the cover to the music it broke hip hop boundaries. That’s a music classic which there aren’t many of. Like to all of music fans it’s a classic. Like Thriller

If we’re talking just quality of music, c3 may be his only classic. Not quality of rapping but music.

But classic gets thrown around too much tho. Not more than 20 classic rap albums ever.

C4 is like massacre for 50 cent, encore for Eminem, blueprint 3 for jay z. One of their most popular tapes due to their prior success but quality wise not up there wit the rest

        C2 is definitely a general classic. It's referred to as a classic by everyone in hip-hop, many take it over C3. Wayne has 5 unanimous classics;

        C2, C3, D2, DD3, NC

Not more than 20 classic rap albums ever.
This is not true. I do agree terms "classic" and "legend" get thrown around too often and too early, but there is much more than 20 classics in hiphop lol.

        Nas - Illmatic
        Eminem - Slim Shady LP
        Eminem - Marshall Mathers LP
        Nas - The Lost Tapes
        Kanye West - College Dropout
        The Game - The Documentary
50 Cent - Get Rich Or Die Tryin'
The Notorious B.I.G. - Life After Death
Raekwon - Only Built For Cuban Linx
        Drake - Take Care
Kendrick Lamar - Good Kid M.A.A.D. City
        T.I. - King
        Jeezy - TM101
Lil Wayne - Tha Carter 2
Lil Wayne - Tha Carter 3
DMX - It's Dark & Hell Is Hot
        Outkast - Stankonia
Wu Tang Clan - 36 Chambers
        JAY Z - The Blueprint
Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
Tupac - Don Killuminati: 7 Day Theory

thats 21 for ya and I'm sure you have ones you would add on.

        Like Thriller
Not every album that is "classic" has to be as impactful and remembered as Thriller (to be fair, very few if any albums are). All the albums I named are on the same level. Some are better, sold more, impacted more than another - but they all deserve classic status.

Yeah u right. those are prob all classics. But when I was thinking classic I was sayin

                Carter 3
                Blueprint
                Get Rich or Die Tryin
                Ready to Die
                Life After Death
                College Dropout

Like everyone in rap knows these albums from cover to music and they were huge. No matter if ur in middle school or 45 ur familiar with the songs on these albums and know of them.

And carter 3 would be the one with maybe blueprint that are music classics. Like everyone knows them even those who aren’t familiar with rap

Not even sayin these are the best albums, but there’s just this huge classic Ora around them

I see what ur saying regardin classics which honestly almost makes an argument for C4 being a classic. I agree with martians list more even though he added a few i wouod take off

But u see what I mean? C3 and get rich die tryin or on another level then c2 and take care. Not sayin they’re better but they’re wayy bigger and still remembered. And c3 to me is on a different level then get rich or die tryin which is why I would call it a music classic. But

                    - - - Updated - - -

I would maybe add an OutKast album and slim shady lp.

didn’t say that but okay my dude. what i was trying to say is the reason it would SOUND like that is because everyone is conditioned to thinking this new shit style of autotune is good when it’s not. that’s why people refer to the style wayne used to use as “old autotune”. it’s not old.. the new “rappers” just don’t know how to use autotune so they put it on the minimum setting then mumble and talk through their entire song.
