Isn’t it going to be old beats? I thought that’s what Wayne said in the Khaled interview?

He tends to do one or two old beats on his mixtapes if you think about it

you would think they would try and clear the samples beforehand instead of releasing it via a mixtape site and then putting it on streaming sites 3 years later

It'll be difficult to clear current beats for a current release. If Im a rapper with a hot song out I want every stream possible, don't want to share my beat with someone else, especially while the song is still growing.

Ive had some theories on how they could get around it though. Like for example instead of freestyling the whole song, leave the original artist on it for a bit (like Feds Watching, Lil Mouse song) and bill it a "remix"

Not an official announcement lol. I think in one of the threads I was questioning if it would be like a traditional Wayne tape or have more original stuff and someone replied saying Olly was making artwork and couldn't use photos that they didn't have the rights to because it would be on streaming services, like how they couldn't use the OG NC cover for the re-release. Idk, ask Olly.
