Picture a much more modern, fine-tuned AIM. For example KTT forums has a lot of sub discord servers. One section of KTT made a "KTT Pokemon Chat" for the Pokemon fans of the forum to join and chat about the series. You can access it via website or by downloading the app which is available for PC and mobile. Arguably the biggest messaging/chat programs out there.

So if i made one for example i can have a channel for discussions on Wayne, then a channel to discuss Drake, etc for example.

what i mean is danny owns this forum so he can do things to it and have it how he wants etc

he can't do that on discord and there would be no point in having both a forum and discord for lwhq

He can make his own announcements, create sections, subsections, emotes for the server, add in staff (mods, admins, etc), pin messages, ban/kick members, ban word usages, create color roles for members, etc. + much more features than forums offer.

Making this doesn't toss away him also having the forum for storage purposes and database/articles. It's the modern step i feel he'd have to make eventually if he wants the forum and community to keep thriving or else it will eventually die off

yea i think that was in part from work, college at the time, and then i was on KTT for a while. But i've used Discord in the background as well, it's just efficient lol. I don't see the issue if he went this route, honestly it'll do him more harm than good, i don't see an issue. Matter fact it'll make the community closer
