V8: Nice introduction, Wayne did his thing and let us know what we are in for
BB King Freestyle: Highlight of the mixtape for me, Wayne and Drake both delivered over a wavy relaxed beat
Lamar: This shit is crazy, stank face throughout the entire song. Shoutout my fellow Cowboys fans! "You ain’t running shit, feed your Ezekiel"
For the Night: First miss on the tape so far, just bland and uninspired for the most part
Something Different: Same as For the Night, bland and uninspired
Life Is Good: Ok things are getting back on track again now. 2nd half Wayne came alive and killed it
Peggy Bundy: Just like Lamar, stank face throughout the entire song
Out West: It's alright, Wayne's verse was cool but the hook and Thug's verse were ear-numbingly bad imo
Church: Recycles Go Brazy lyrics off D6R, nothing to write home about
Comme Des Garçons: Average track, just Wayne having fun and spitting
Deep End: Not feeling this, but then again this type of rap is not my vibe either
Drag 'Em: Same as Deep End
Drive-Bys: Hard af, even Vice Versa did their thing on this
Fl4m3$: N/A (but I will say Wayne should def jump on some Money Man beats at some point)
3 Headed Goat: All 3 floated on this, crazy dope track
Hollywood: N/A
Kam: N/A
Kamilla: Meh it's nothing to write home about, Jay Jones deserved a way better track to feature on
2 Diamonds: Just like Drag 'Em and Deep End, not my vibe
Afro: Average track overall, Wayne still did his thing tho
Final Thoughts: Overall, I'd say the mixtape is a light 7/10. I enjoyed about 9 or 10 out of the 17 tracks (I don't count his kids features). The lows are low, but the highs are really high and def make up for it. Khaled wasn't as annoying as I thought he'd be but I'm still gonna cut out his intros/outros for my library. Can't wait to see what the 2nd half has in store for us! My 3 favorite tracks as of now are BB King Freestyle, Lamar, and Peggy Bundy.RawTuneNotACartoon
