  • So almost 3 years later, what's your opinion on Dedication 6?

I gotta be honest i'm still amazed at how well he was rapping on this tape. There was a couple of songs like Bank Account, 5 Star, Yeezy Sneakers where he was snapping so hard at some point. He body bagged DNA, completely murders My Dawg(dare i say one of his best verses ever), oblitares Eureka, made XO Tour Life his own song with *unpopular opinion* great part from Baby E(if you are into emo rap you would like it) let's not forget about Blackin' Out, Let Em All In, Boyz 2 Menace, New Freezer and What's Next bars on bars on bars on bars.

What's new in town? Let's do it now
A couple marbles ain't been found
A couple screws been screwed around
My father ain't been 'round, my heart ain't missed a pound
The system of a down, and it's been up and down
A psycho, all I'm missin' is the gown
Sippin' up, I piss enough to drown, twistin' up a pound
High as fuck, a Bentley truck on clouds, y'all so underground
I break a whole bunch of fuckin' vows
    Come to hunt you down
    All up in your section
Use protection when you fuck around
Possession of deception, imperfection, no affection
No correct your transgression, turn depression to aggression
    Got an obsession for expression
With no pressure, no discretion, and the F is for the
"Flesh of all the fleshless ones, I left 'em, F 'em." sheeesh man that flow is FIRE

and all of this is just part one of this mixtape.

the only minuses are too much autotune on 5 Star(but he still completely murders it) , Young(he could've went alot harder on that) and i personally don't like Everyday We Sick and i would've said the features but tbh almost everyone kiiled his verse even Hoody was decent on Eureka and My Dawg.
In conclusion i will say this, Dedication 6 Part 1 is the best new school trap/rap project and Wayne shows all this youngins like Kodak Black, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Baby, 21 Savage, Rich The Kid how it's done

everyday we sick is one of my absolute favorites off the tape. Flawless flow and a compelling stretched out rhyme scheme over the whole duration of the song, whats not to like?

I viewed it as a rebirth for wayne tbh, that's how much I was impressed by the pure rapping. The tape is nice but sometimes wayne's artistry falls short or the feats are ass. It was the first new wayne project I ever listened to cause I became a fan in ~July of the same year

He stepped up his technical rapping and ability huge on this tape. D6 exceeded my expectations by a lot tbh

those rappers are nowhere near to being on the same level as wayne

D6 was and still is fire. I remember it was snowing outside and I was driving to the store listening like yo wtf Wayne’s snappinnnnn, but on a totally different flow. It was honestly a highlight of that Christmas for me. I will always remember that day.
