First time I heard D6 I was like eh but the rapping was definitely impressive. Now its one of my favourite wayne tapes. Agree with what someone said: definitely felt like the rebirth of wayne

D6 was and still is fire. I remember it was snowing outside and I was driving to the store listening like yo wtf Wayne’s snappinnnnn, but on a totally different flow. It was honestly a highlight of that Christmas for me. I will always remember that day.

love the dedication series. even tho some hate listening to the DJ tags, it adds something to it for me. hearing Drama shoutout is nostalgia.
specific to D6, the beats bang and wayne goes hard. its appropriate for the time

I agree with some people before, the first time i heard this, i could tell wayne was spittin but i really didnt start feelin it until my dawg especially with the whole "i look very good good very" part. tht was the first time i really felt like he killed it

it still doesnt do much for me outside of a couple standout songs but he was really rappin well. d6r on first listen was my much more preferred of the two. combine the songs from each and as someone said its a resurection like feel. some really nice songs

Been listening to D6 and D6R this week a lot and it’s just insane how good this tape is...Seriously one of my favorite Wayne mixtapes of all time. When this came out after a long drought of him releasing music you could tell how hungry he was and he had something to prove.
