  • Is the problem Wayne getting burnt out recording so many songs?

So with NC3 being released the consensus here seems to be that a few tracks are good while the rest of the tape is either average or terrible.

This is a complaint I've seen people give a lot of his recent projects like Funeral & C5 too.
And I'm beginning to wonder if Wayne recording so many tracks isn't good?

Its hard to stay consistent if you're doing like 50 songs a day. You can tell the tracks where Wayne is actually trying compared to those where he's just going through the motions and unfortunately he produces more songs of that second category.

I think we would get better quality tracks if Wayne slowed down on his work load.

    Thoughts?

I agree. The ones the current gen considers "goats" legit don't release as much as wayne does (they do like one album every 1-3 years, literally). And this results in a better discography.

Actually, I don't think any rapper released like wayne this year. I appreciate him always trying to give us music, but wish it wouldn't result in a freaking war in the fanbase lmao. But I also agree with what someone said about the problem being Mack. But think about it; what if mack is running out of appropriate songs to choose from? Cause Wayne's overworking and burning out, possibly. So alot of the tracks have the "average/terrible" feel, and that doesn't leave one much to work with

That's a possibility but then why not just shorten the projects?
Keep the bangers leave out the filler.

We know Wayne asked Mack why C5 was so long so I don't think Wayne's against a 15 track album/mixtape.

Except the unused songs that leak years later are usually great. NC2 and its leftovers for example.

Michael Jordan just shouldn't have practiced so much. They should've only played him 1 out of every 4 games. People get worse with more training and more experience. That's why 4 year olds produce the greatest work. Especially since the brain is a muscle, it can get overuse injuries.

there is too many filler songs on nc3 and funeral
shit even both d6 projects had a few actually
it all comes down to the people picking the songs for the projects or the people in the studio telling weezy this is a 10/10 song when it's more a 6-7/10 song
