Okay, so does anyone actually think any of these songs are songs they can relate to or would use when talking to a girl you like? In my teens?
Yeah I tried it, but if you think about it, most of the "love" songs are full of fucking and not actually romantic songs. Drake has so many songs and his mid to lower tier romantic songs are far better. I mean lets be honest, most of us are in our 20s or even 30+ Do we really relate to the shit? I'd think outside of trolling no.
There are some cool features with hints of well thought out substance, but.. it gets ruined the next line with "she did anal when she don't do anal" or "the best part of waking up is breakfast after a nut" I think a lot of us do factually go to other places when looking for music that conveys our thoughts and feelings anymore. Music is very very good at conveying emotion and what you might be struggling to find the words to say, but Wayne might have you looking like a clown after he gets a girl's hopes up thinking "oh how sweet" to just be smacked in the ears with some pussy line. Carter 2 Wayne is like the closest I'd go to with songs like Grown Man and Receipt.
While some people may give me shit for saying it, I think a ton of us are becoming who we're pretty much meant to be and looking for our long term futures and in reality it may sound good, but we don't really relate to a lot of that shit if we're being honest.
