Why do people keeping talking about NC3 like it's an album? It's a fucking mixtape, there is no structure, it's just bars.

you mean the times when that wayne and birdman kissing photo leaked?
Hell yea it was an amazing time being a wayne fan while the whole hip hop community was homophobic

Okay I don’t like half the songs you listed.....
              and don’t be so literal
Even though most of the aren’t SONGS! Just him rapping over a beat and you hoping and praying the verses aren’t horrible. That’s a not a SONG!

C5 was a great album. Period.
Nobody can’t make me ashamed of Lil Wayne being my all time favorite

Y’all are completely wrong about this lol. Wayne’s songs are more structured than ever, it’s just using the new school formula and he sprinkles in some genius CONCEPTS every once in a while. Y’all mis speaking saying he doesn’t structure songs. He knows exactly what he’s doing in that regard. He has hooks, bridges, pre hooks, verses, hell his hooks even elevate as the songs go on lol. I think you guys are missing the lack of concepts like he use to go for. Unluckily for us, he even said himself it’s easier to make music today cuz not everyone’s focused on what he’s saying, more so just how it sounds

Then again I can’t blame Wayne because music as a whole just isn’t what it was in the late 2000s/early 2010s. Nostalgia might be playing a factor too
