Wayne before his time. That’s sums up his prime. That sht was before it’s time fr. if u go back to them songs they still are enjoyable. Like it ridiculous. Most other rappers from that eras verses have grown flat with multiple listens but even the worse wayne verses stand from his prime years. As far as replay value. I’ve sed this before, no one since has been as good was Wayne was in his prime and he was better than anything that came before. It’s a shame he still has to fight for the recognition he deserves. He was not only the best thing in rap but some of the best flow and vocals in music history. Numbers defend this such as billboard hits. His sound was light years in rap. He really was before his time. We forget so quick how good he was but his prime was good as anything we ever heard and needs more appreciation. He was on point with every verse he put out for 3-4 years and was putting out 100 a year.

Like people don’t give it the credit it’s due. He was the most technical rapper out and made it sound like cool, vibe, and party music. He had the coolest sound and swag and was the most technical rapper out. Likenhis combination of sound, technique, and wordplay was some of the best things music has heard. Which is evidenced by how many hits with how many different artists and genres. He was doing it efffortkessly. Now he is trying to force show he is technical but back then he was more technical than anyone else by far. he could switch up rhyme schemes and stay with solid flow and bars. He had the hottest sound and was the most technical and best rapper. Rap in itself is enjoyable just due to the nature of how it sounds by the best such as jay z, em and others. But Wayne brought another element of musicality which can be displayed with songs such as lollipop that he could be just as successful as the other technical rappers without even having to rap. He was just as successfully sonically as evidence by lollipop. His integration and transformation of rap into another element of music is under viewed. Cuz he was a technical rapper. and he showed that on V8 he’s still one of the most technical rappers and he made lollipop.

And he doesn’t get the credit of how technical of a rapper he was back then as really so far the most technical rapper that he could switch up flows in ways no one else could. He was way before his time as a lyricist and talent

it’s the negative narrative people love.

every new rapper wears stuff like that now.
