I guess so. But of course 2 words you never hear, Wayne Quit, so he would never retire especially so young, and of course our legend may live a hundred years.
The world, the music industry would be so different without him for certain though!

I believe there's actually a interview where he mentions he initially planned to retire after C1 because he felt the music shit wasn't really successful like that and I guess money issues with Baby.

Wayne would definitely be forgotten to some degree, but he would be remembered in the south and by certain rappers like Kendrick who's always said he became a fan of Hot Boy Weezy, some other rappers said this too

3:35 He felt like it wasn't working out and was only known as the youngest hot boy.

then Tha Carter dropped and everything changed.

And to answer the question he prob would’ve been remembered as a lil bow wow or lil Zane. Tho he might have been more advanced, he was still like the child rapper at that time.

He would be a legend to some and a random dude to others. Back that azz up is still a hit and people still say bling. And believe it or not a lot of people actually know of the hot boys. Those who grew up through tht time so they would know him. But to anyone who didn’t he would either be relatively unknown

Prob less popular than lil bow wow and a notch above lil zane

Not if he died. But if he fell off/retired or got a long prison sentence probably
