it was released in a "transition period" of my life and it's probably one of the highlights of a rather dull year for me. After a long year without a new Wayne album/mixtape and after whatever happened between him and Birdman/Cash Money and the delayed release of tha C5 this tape was groundbreaking for me. This is one of those personal stories that bonds you with a piece of art. A record, a book, a movie. In the right place at the right time!
And I guess it had the right vibe too, a rather introspective Weezy that was breaking free.
