lol this is not necessarily true. im a against the unwarranted hate funeral gets. im not sure why funeral gets so much hate yet people praise c5 so much. c5s best songs are elite but as a whole some are forgettable. to me fwa, carter v, and funeral are almost like c1,c2,c3 to me. its almost user choice. i just see fwa and c5 get so much praise and funeral trashed yet i feel like it is virtually in the same realm. so im not neceassrily defending all of his new stuff even though one could debate lyrically he is more complex, im more so against the narrative tht fwa and c5 are amazing and funeral is where wayne went wrong. it is on the same level of any post sftw2 tape to me. half are good half are for another crowd

If you listen to his verse on My Dawg or Bloody Mary or Yeezy Sneakers or Bank Account or Eureka you can hear some swag and confidence in his voice and the way he raps.
+ he brought his DD3 voice back on Eureka and Bank Account.
I really hoped that NC3 will bring back that energy and swag but it didn't happen
