anyone wonder how OG Funeral the one that was recorded between 2015-2018 sounded like? i think wayne changed the tone and general concept of funeral a lot after the C5 beef and after release of D6 a lot of the ideas were slapped together and rushed which is why the project sounds so hallow and weak (funeral sucks ass btw)

anyway any theories on how it sounded?

The outro part is using the same vocal effect wayne used alot on funeral & funeral era, Wayne mentions funeral in the song & clearly it was a OG song they just reused for that beat, I could be wrong but I'm 80% sure it was OG recorded for a funeral session

You may be onto something. Idk if you noticed but theres a skip, vocally, on the song between “cables” and “Left” here: “And the blunt as long as cables, Left some hundreds on the table.” Sounds like a breath or something minor was cut. Which usually only happens with blends to keep them on beat. This could be a coincidence but i thought it may have been worth mentioning.

Sleepless definitely a funeral session but I think it was made in 2019 and is a new funeral session as opposed to an old one, Outwest seemingly is same as that thug x Wayne snippet so that’s funeral too most likely, Vizine I believe is a C5 session, beauty based on what you said might be funeral as well, but again I think it’s a newer funeral session
