Just depends on the type of song and what it brings out of him. He actually said himself he was making sure he said everything the same way Lil Baby said it when talking about NC3 before it came out, he obviously likes him a lot. There are plenty of examples of him totally changing the flow or tweaking/adding to it on D6 and NC3 though. It's usually these boring modern 'trap' type beats that he seems to imitate the muffled original flows on more.

You should pick more similar examples, Banned from TV is superior in every way.

i have many i broke this down and studied all his mixtapes in comparison to NC3 because NC3 let me down so hard its the first mixtape ive never felt compelled to play again and wayne never ever imitated and mimicked an artists flow so blantly then he did on NC3

im not a hater im a stan and i want more from my goat and the dude ive invested a ton of time, energy and money into im not going to be a blind yes man to the recent bs he been doing because i KNOW he can do better and he has these blasts of genius that for some reason are casted to the sidelines when i hear things like Seeing Green, BBKING, lalala snippet, mama mia even and then i hear funeral and NC3 im confused and perplexed as to whats happening either his team is holding his best music in the vaults (likely) or wayne himself is getting lazy

NC3 is probably my least favourite mixtape. I only really listen to Tyler Herro, BB King, Hit Different and a few others sometimes. It's just the types of songs that are made these days. Wayne always gets most creative on or seems most inspired by classic type beats (Seeing Green etc.) or very weird (Mama Mia) or simple/raw beats(Big Bad Wolf). There are some awesome modern beats like Gang Gang but the majority of stuff that is out and popular these days is so generic, all the same formula, you can get into it and bang your head to it and shit but it's really just mind-numbing and dreary af, he does too much of that stuff these days.

i just feel like wayne is purposefully sucking out the life and excitement that his music used to bring he doesnt hit beats (aside from the exceptions you noted and otherwise) with the same vigor or hunger or even just the effortlessness like he used to like D4 is way better then NC3 to me for the simple fact that wayne felt more alive and energetic on D4 then anything on NC3

its off because he did modern beats on D6 but he was a lot sharper and vibrant on there then NC3 i feel the overuse of drugs and the feeling like his not 'hitting with the kids like he used to' is forcing him to make these type of songs and they just simply suck i listen to wayne everyday and i swear i listen to basically everything aside from funeral and NC3 aside from maybe big worm

ugh. it is just so fucking refreshing to not be the only one pointing this shit out anymore. i love it.

bottom line is he's been trying to sound like everyone & anyone but himself, & it's just not working.

d4 BLOWS NC3 out of the fucking water there is absolutely no comparison. burn & same damn tune alone make NC3 sound like a joke.
