I respect baby but I don’t like hearing “new Wayne” of this generation or anything.

In terms of work ethic and the crazy feature run he's been having, I agree 100%, but his full length albums just don't keep my attention the same way his features do. Dude is definitely talented and has some great bars, but I can't sit down and listen to a whole album of his style. Wayne is the Wayne of every generation, but Lil Baby is still pretty dope as well. If he's still popping off a decade from now at the same level or better, then we can have this conversation.

His confidence is VERY similar to 2009 Wayne's. as much as the forehead diamond is a meme, Wayne would do shit like that just because he's always liked being different. Uzi's song making ability is way better than Baby's too, Baby says a lot of cool shit, and I love his more thought provoking stuff he's done.

Uzi on the other hand is more marketed to the chill and laid back vibes, the shit you make memories too. in my mid 20s, that's still cool for me, but you got to think we were mostly teens growing up seeing Wayne. the teens are def vbing with Uzi making memories they'll hold onto for years, That's less a thing for Baby I'd think. (being reflective of when we were younger doing the same with Wayne's music)

Uzi has shown he can be deep and thought provoking too while still being his creative and fun self, we're seeing more mature content from him in recent time too, so I think he has a good shot to win over that crowd of people as he's making music for both now.
Uzi is still in the closet.
