here is a comparison between we be steady mobbin & darkside. listen to how fucking crisp and clear the QUALITY of wayne's voice is on WBSM and then listen to how fucking distorted & muffled it is on darkside. this has NOTHING to do with his voice but whoever is in charge of editing it after he records it.

I agree with pretty much all this but I think instead of comparing two different Wayne songs from different eras you should compare the same song that's been re-recorded in different eras.

I'm talking about shit like Life of Mr Carter or Scottie Pippen. Even if they weren't fully finished the vocals were so much better on the 2014 tracks compared to what we got from the 2020 versions.

i dont think scottie v2 was re-recorded at all. all the breaths and pauses are exactly the same. its just mixing and effects for that one.
