Bro the album is legit garbage it’s literally mumble rap in it’s purest form that’s why it sold so low Wayne is greater than that he should be giving us mature music don’t know how Carter II was his most serious album and he was like 22-23 at the time it’s like Wayne does not grow mentally or spiritually he grows backwards how has his music lost substance with age it should be the other way around it doesn’t matter how garbage that album was people on this site and Weezy fan pages gon eat it up there’s a difference between being a fan and suffering from idolatry literally the general public thinks this album is trash and rightfully so let’s be real when you turn 80 years old can you really sit and listen to trust fund babies that album is mumble rap garbage and no I’m not hating I love Weezy he’s my favorite rapper and the greatest ever in my eyes I’m just sick of the meaningless mumble rap garbage trap beats I want a real classic serious project from Weezy similar to like a 4:44 a project where he talks about his life growth and family as a grown man not a Hot Boy

something i noticed with artists and celebs is they either age gracefully like a david bowie or a jay z or they age in a messy cringe state desperately clinging onto the past like a madonna or something which bracket wayne will sit in time will tell but its not looking pretty mans gave us his two great focused releases with FWA and C5 and instead of building on that he went backwards

Literally bro that was my whole thing before the album came out remember I said it was watering down Wayne’s legacy that’s what I meant look we as fans have to realize Wayne’s past is iconic hot boys- Carter IV he became an absolute rap legend fashion icon and trend setter he no longer is able to release things he could have got away with when he was 20 we gotta look at him past LilWaynehq we as fans should want the best for him he needs to begin to age like a legend so he can get into that billionaire status if Wayne gives us a couple more funeral/ trust fund babies like albums he will not be able to go on tour in 20 years he won’t be able to sell old mixtapes on streaming platforms in 5 years and break the internet not because he’s not great because the perception on him is skewed in society look at Jay Z the perception people have of him is he’s a wealthy motherfucker who doesn’t come out unless it’s important so anytime he does anything he’s gonna break the internet if every year Wayne gives us 2-3 trust fund babies like albums his legacy will be watered down and he will have less and less chances to break the internet and make more money that same perception people have on Jay Z they have on Kanye they have on Drake who is Wayne’s protege which makes no sense Wayne should be moving like the person he put on but whatever the perception of Wayne will slowly begin to get classified with the likes of T.I. Jeezy etc the 12k-20k first week artist which is sad and y’all on this site besides a couple don’t give a fuck

To put it in perspective for y’all to get what I’m saying you see how Wayne was on this crazy feature run in 2021 let’s say instead of trust fund babies he gave us a little ep with serious beats and material and a few top tier features I guarantee you the perception of Wayne rn would be “holy fuck this legend who we all thought lost it really proved us all wrong” and if he waited some time after that and boom dropped IANAHB3 and made sure it was a serious album better than the first two installments in the series I promise his next album would have cracked 230k first week easy

There are plenty of Bowie projects that his fans and critics weren't fond of, most of his albums from the late 80s to the early 2000s didn't sell that well. He released two albums with a group which most fans didn't like and didn't sell that well either. People actually said that he was following the generation he inspired and that he wasn't innovative anymore, just like what you say about Wayne. Nobody now ever says his legacy was ruined by any of that, his final two albums are gold and platinum with rave reviews. Still gains fans to this day. Still a global icon. Madonna is still an icon and legend no matter how 'cringe' people think she is now, her fanbase still loves her. Every interesting artist has fluctuations in the quality or style of their work and how it's received, especially those with decades spanning careers that actually release a lot of music. People on here saying he'll end up being placed with TI and Jeezy etc. because of some low sales as though they have done nearly as much as he has over his career. When it's all said and done people focus on what they love and the greatest achievements not "flops" or sub-par albums or badly received music.

Yeah, he was bigger than Wayne before Wayne became bigger than him. He was one of the biggest artists when I was growing up. I didn't say TI is hasn't done shit, I said he hasn't done as much as Wayne has.

albums not even bad. People were hating on the album before it even dropped solely because it was with rich the kid. General public doesn't even think its trash they just didn't listen cause its rich the kid.

RTK last solo album only did 18k with lil baby x2, future, dababy, nicki, post malone, lil tjay, YB x2, and quavo. Literally insane feat list and he moved dust.

RTK X YB did 19k with 15 songs but YB still did 130k fw solo.
