I say no. he's had some great verses this year, but honestly the way he spoke about wanting freedom to do xyz we've not really seen anything too crazy. he's the same guy he's been while under cash money/birdman. and that puzzles me.

What did he have in mind? why hasn't it happened? are expectations too high?

i agree with you fam they made so many promises to us as fans teased us like crazy wayne + mack said that once reigns are off we'll see a jump up in frequency and quality. waynes first release outside of CM post lawsuit was C5 which for me and many i feel met these expectations it was larger then life due to the history and impact behind it and it truly felt like a celebratory victory lap for waynes career but then waynes first proper solo effort whilst a free artist was funeral full of shit mixing, bad hallow unfinished beats, cringy concepts, boring features and so far removed from all that we appreciate from wayne
