Are the SQAD tapes worth checking out?

as part of my current weezy binge, i've really been digging in the (digital) crates, trying to find his official tapes, but i haven't heard much of the other cash money guys (besides some features, probably)

are those tapes or anyone involved in those old groups worth checking out too? plz be kind i'm new

P.S. I did listen to SQAD7/10,000 bars because I had to know what a 35 minute wayne song sounded like

a lot of the first few sqad up tapes have duplicate songs on them i think. if you're an actual wayne fan i would say give them all a listen but you may not enjoy them all

the sad up tapes are worth a listen if you haven't listened to them before but i dont think you'll go back to them again

SQ4 is the definitive best. 1 is good too. Each tape (for the most part) has a handful of good songs but they are merely average overall

Some great songs in there like Best Of Me, Got Me a Model, Oh Boy, Weezy Baby Baby etc..

but the quality and the other sqad members drag it down alot. It's still worth a listen, some gems in there.
