he was tweeting similar stuff before C4 and that project was super shallow lyrically pretty sure mack and wayne vault most of the transparant open hearted records and instead push the stuff they think would sell

Our nigga out there chasing trends at almost 40 years instead of growing into the role of an og in the rap game. He has this perception of currently successful artist and what they do, Gunna Thugga Lil Baby Dababy and so on, and he tries to copy it to be successful too. It just won't work though.

Its the snake eating itself all his raps these days sound like discount versions of the artists you mentioned and it comes across so corny on many occasions especially considering dude is of age then you hear snippets like La La La and Do it Without Ya and hear the potential he could be reaching but isnt.... especially at this stage in his career

We know mans has plenty to say and he can hit a mature sound as demonstrated on C5 and FWA all mans needed was bit of direction and decent beats

Definitely fam i always was down for wayne to experiment with new age sounds and rapping on pieree beats is a good direction i support it in bite sized doses but it shouldn't be his WHOLE sound wayne always been a diverse mf but soemthing about the dude thats changed is that his so far removed from what he was a witty but somewhat insightful and charming character now his very washed out drugged out depressed character which summarises most the rap game rrn so he doesn't even stand out and further by that if we look at wayne every single year of his career he evolved but always had core traits that he stuck to even during 2012-2013 era
