Surely that is Lil Wayne's team being unprofessional rather than them using a hacker's song name ?

Around Spring 2011 is when I first joined LilWayneHQ. The first release that I was on the forums for was Sorry 4 The Wait. Like anything Wayne related, it was filled with pushbacks.

During the late hours of a July morning in 2011, a twitter user started leaking the mixtape song by song, and then the whole tape. The files he had didn't have names, just Track 1, Track 2 etc, so most of the songs he just named them after the beat.

The last song on the mixtape used the instrumental from Beyonce's "Run the World". However, I guess the leaker wasn't a Beyonce fan and was unaware of the instrumental. He leaked the song with the title "IDK" - as in "I Don't Know". Early YouTube uploads still have this title -

When the mixtape was officially released, it was given it's proper title - Run The World, Girls (Freestyle).

Flash forward a decade later and Sorry 4 The Wait got it's streaming release last night. As with No Ceilings coming to streaming song titles had to be changed, which I assume is due to sample clearance.

The title they chose for "Run The World, Girls (Freestyle)" was "IDK" - a nod to the original leak title.

I found this really cool and it really took me back to my early days on HQ.
                That’s hilarious LOL 😂
