Who is at times rapping better then he ever has before this we got FWA, SFTW2, NC2, D6, C5, CG1 all projects where wayne was rapping hard af but the projects werent packaged or sold as they were mostly mixtapes, commercial mixtapes or collab projects

When C5 dropped it did numbers and was praised for its concepts, lyricism features etc and was overall a fantastic project instead of riding that high they dropped Funeral which didn't AT ALL feed into what people actually liked about c5 eg. Growth, maturity, concepts and instead literally did the absolute opposite

They expanded the worst ideas on C5 and made that the inspiration behind most of Funeral and as evidenced by sales didn't land with people nearly at all most people just saw it as a side step at best and a step backwards at worst now most people don't really care or know what waynes working on rn they just see 'waynes dropped a collab with rtk' and ask why tf would he do that?

Thats it none knows about ianahb3 or collegrove 2 or anything because he doesn't even barely market himself anymore 90% of the time hos just doing podcasts for sports players or interviews on ESPN its boring as hell

i'm so pissed that they didn't capitalize on the D6/C5 hype. D6 + Reloaded being a very succesful and praised mixtapes and C5 sold almost half a million and was also praised. i still think Wayne got it in him to make amazing album, but he gotta change alot of things. Last year we heard he can still sound like old Wayne(Seeing Green, Bash Money, The Ritual) he just needs good production and not some 18 year old producers who nobody knows all over his album. Stop being cheap and just pay for good production. The features are also big problem, no one cares about fuckng OT Genesis, Lil Twist, Allan Cubas, Adam Levine etc. And although this is a mixtape, this dude really put great spitters like Euro, Jay Jones and Gudda Gudda on freaking mumbling autotune songs (Ring Ring, Kamilla and Drag Em) and that's one of the reasons NC3 was so disapointing. But I still have hope for his future music, he can't stay in that mumbling autotune trap lane forever
