      • Eh i expected worse reading the comments.
There‘s a few decent songs which is all i was hoping for.
From the first two listens it‘s not as bad as some of the other recent projects.

"a few decent songs" was all you were hoping for? Before this album released I would have said you should have higher expectations.
I mean there was so much time to work on this and to refine it to perfection. Also what he said about it beforehand "how would I sound like with such and such" making it sound like he's experimenting with unexpected features and new collaborations and then what do we have? ESPN anthem with Bono (which is okay), and a Andrea Bocelli sample and a few mid tier has beens. What was that all about?

          • Ive ran through the album just 1 time. I will have probably 4-5 listens today so things might change.

I am down with it.. def some songs on there I wont come back to, but there are still good songs on here and I will listen to for many years. I feel the music world is just so different from back in 05, 08, the 2010s and now the 2020s. Im just glad Wayne is still alive so he can give us music. I will always be here for Wayne.

            Respek tha 6.

Honestly i haven‘t paid attention to what has been said beforehand. I disliked most of the selected beats throughout the last few years and i disliked the overall sound of most of the songs and i don‘t think there‘s a reason why this would change suddenly.

              • Intro - sounds good. 10/10

Welcome to Tha Carter - slaps (great opening) 10/10

Bells - takes time to get into, Verse 2 is dope but songs kinda feels out of place, like it doesn't fit this album. 7/10

Hip-Hop - fire, good chorus, chill beat, good verses, has a good replay value. (Hopefully he makes a video for this). 10/10

Sharks - aight, cool chorus, nice verse from both Wayne and Sean. 7/10

Banned From NO - not sure what to think, weird choice to use the same sample he already used in No Ceilings, so I have to instantly compare it to the original remix, and it's nowhere close to the Banned from TV that he did for NC. So unfortunately, first disappointment from this album - 4/10

The Days - It is what they wanted it to be, a radio song which might appeal to a broader audience and not just Weezy fans, has a good replay value, he will probably make a video for this (he should) - 9/10

Cotton Candy - Not really a fan of 2 Chainz, but song is aight, cool beat, cool lines - 6/10

Flex Up - Dope song, feel like mixing could be better and overall sound of the beat could be better, but still dope - 9/10

Island Holiday - I'm feeling this one, but I'm kinda biased cuz I love Rebirth Wayne and Prom Queen is the first song I ever heard from Wayne. This shit is 10/10 for me, ngl.

                Loki's Theme - It's aight, nothing special - 6/10

If I Played Guitar - Wayne reminds us that he is the most versatile rapper in the game, I guess he tries to make a new How to Love here, but it just doesn't have the same vibe, still the vibe is aight, it's just not the mainstream radio hit they were hoping for I guess - 7/10

Peanuts 2 N Elephant - Respect for Wayne still going for these weird ass beats, this song makes My Homies Still a classic. Beat is awful, not sure who and why put this song here. It literally hurt my ears. (if they make a video for this song then someone in Waynes team is definitely sabotaging him lmao) - 1/10.

Rari - I like Wayne verses, but I really don't fuck with that chorus, shitty lyric in the chorus, and doesn't fit with the kid doing the chorus.. But I respect Wayne for doesn't giving a fuck and promoting his kids. W dad - 7/10

Maria - Idk if you realize but Wayne been doing this for how long and still finds something new and fresh to make. I like this lol - 8/10

Bein Myself - Absolutely fire. Mannie did a great beat, and Wayne went crazy on it. 10/10.

Mula Komin In - This kid is even more cringe than the one on the Rari, Wayne verse was decent. 6/10

Alone in The Studio With My Gun - Dope chorus and both verses. 8/10

Written History - Dope song, nice outro. 8/10

                Overall: 7.5/10.

I really don't get the members of this forum, always overly critical and trashing almost every Wayne project (last 10+ years).. This is a solid Carter album, similar to how Carter 5 was. If you thought you were getting a Carter 3, man, gotta realize Wayne is not in his prime anymore lol, he's getting old..

Anyway, I don't get why All Alone is not on the album, if it was on the album instead of Peanuts 2 N Elephant, it's an instant 8/10 album..

                      • Wayne struggles to make solo music these days. This is really bad… jump on features a few times a year man.

                        • I’m ngl this album is trash 🗑️, Wayne’s team need firing. I think Wayne carried on this but I have listened a few times not doing it for me. Production is bad. 6 years in the making we deserved better!
