I don't have much faith in anything from the C6 sessions being substantially better than the songs that made the album. And if that's true, why drop something that is being ripped apart by social media and his fans again?

Historically, yes absolutely. I've been around lol
However for this one ... the three songs from the first print, the added Future track, his current mindset, how casual he appears to approach a Carter album ... and that's why I said C6 sessions. If they went further back, then totally they could dig up a lot of dope songs. I just don't see any recorded songs after Funeral having more depth or more quality and better production than what made the album. It's not like Funeral shouldn't have already been a massive wake up call for Wayne. 2 for 2. You're fooling yourself if you think "the good songs aren't on the album" imho.

Everything about this album is in the wrong order. It's crazy how they fucked up. Simple men like me can make better decisions. It's hard to do worse. Give me a chance, I don't want money. I loves Wayne but it hurt what they are doing with his legacy.

Yeah I mean I'm not even saying whoever was in charge of picking songs for the album made the best possible job. Highly unlikely that they left nothing on the table, giving how odd some choices seem to be. I just don't believe there is this second set of recent songs, that somehow are of much better quality. After being dragged through the mud, mocked and ridiculed, he can't release mid again.
