the lyrics aren't awful, the voice is an improvement of what its been in the last few years
no single, no interviews, no promotion, all because he has no budget or doesn't want to spend the budget and keep the money for himself

Wayne needs to pay attention.
It seems like he doesn't understand that people are desperate to see him drop a classic hip hop album with nice production that you can listen to all the way through.
If his next album is like this he will do under 100k for the first time.
Like he needs to hear what David Banner said on club shay shay.Last edited by KnockMeOut; 06-30-2025, 01:41 PM.

sadly labels do not care what he says, if he doesnt recoup the money spent for album or return a profit, he will be in label purgatory.
im sure he'll do features and drop loosies, but albums from wayne going forward might be far and few between if at all

the 'label' spent money on producers, features, adds on billboards, renting out MSG for the night, the 3 different vinyl versions of the album they released....is it as big a budget as other big artists and even himself in the past....no...but thats because his sales dont reflect having a budget for those big things as they feel it wouldnt warrant any return for them
and well as long as you're ok with waiting another 5+ years for next project you'll be fine
