I think this is a result of Wayne being effectively independent. he doesn't want to spend any money on producers or features and it really hampers him

the lyrics aren't awful, the voice is an improvement of what its been in the last few years

no single, no interviews, no promotion, all because he has no budget or doesn't want to spend the budget and keep the money for himself

Wayne could easily get free features from Drake and Nicki imo if he just asked. A bunch of A list rappers and artists would do swaps if he asked. I think he is just making the music he wants now.

Momma Dont Worry shoulda made C6 over Island Holiday, Mula Coming In and Peanuts 2 Elephants.

i feel like they didnt clear it in time. but adding that all alone and making nicki version main version then remove peanuts, mula comin in, island holiday (maybe moving rari to deluxe). Would make the album have way better reception (from people sayin it is trash to now being mid) imo. Those 3 songs just stand out a lot.


But tbh a lot of it could be reworked.

I’ve been a huge Lil Wayne fan since forever, and when Tha Carter VI dropped, I felt like it had some amazing moments, but also that it could hit even harder as a complete album experience.

So I decided to take matters into my own hands and create a re-edited version of Tha Carter VI. I carefully reordered the tracklist, added a few new tracks, and aimed to create a more cohesive journey from start to finish.

The result is my vision of Tha Carter VI — something that flows better, hits different, and feels like a true Carter album from start to finish. What separates albums from a playlist or collection of songs is the flow and overall theme of the album. Sometimes re-ordering tracks or adding some tracks can improve on this experience. That's what I tried to do with this version of Tha Carter VI. The beginning of the album is more focused on hip-hop, the middle of the album has more radio-friendly hits, and the end of the album leans into introspective and personal aspects of Wayne's life.
