I've said it a couple times in other threads but I thought it be easier to make one about it instead. If you think this is a waste of time or something then can a mod just delete it please.

But back to the point, I personally think this was all staged and set up on purpose by Universal and YM/CMB, here's why.

1. We find out about the date being pushed back and a week later the leak happens, but why would Amazon one of the biggest companies in the world have not have updated this? They would have been one of the first companies offering pre-orders to be informed. Also Amazon had on record that the album was due for a Dec 21st release, yet it got sent out before that. If it was already said as 21st then the only way it would leak by accident would be if it hadn't been updated to Feb 1st by the time it got to Dec 21st. Also it's funny how the UK version and others managed to change the date to Feb 1st within 24 hours of us finding out about the push back.

2. 500 copies of Rebirth make it to their destination yet supposedly thousands of copies were shipped out. What is even more strange is these 500 copies don't even seem to be anywhere near each other. If a group of CDs would have made it to customers by accident then they would have all been with the same courier and all in the same area. It's not too hard to pick 500 random names from a list of all the pre-orders.

3. Now to make matters worse I have searched most of the top news sites and I can't find a single thing to do with Amazon leaking these copies by mistake. Surely if it was a mistake then news companies would be reporting it? Only time they wouldn't is if they have been told in advance that this is all done on purpose. I may be wrong about this point though.

4. The chain of release events, 2 official singles then not too long after Drop The World leaks followed by the whole album. The two singles wern't doing that badly in downloads yet if they wernt at Universals expectations they could easily leak Drop The World themselves.

5. Lil Twist got that ustream shut down in less than 5 mins after tweeting about it. Now think for a second, is that really possible to get that done that quickly when this DJBMURDER and his friends are supposed to be genuinly leaking the album, it would take longer than that to get it shut down, perhaps not much but definately longer.

6. It was tweeted then re-tweeted by Mack Maine that this version of Rebirth isn't the 2010 version. That means that they must have decided in less than a day to change the whole thing, bit of a snap decision by everyone involved to do that.

7. If this was an accident why didn't Universal step up and do something. Especially after that ustream threat to leak it. If it was accidental then they would have had to push the date forward and also they would have released it for download on itunes immediately. Universal don't fuck around with stuff like this.

8. We know that they were worried about the performance on it and I read it on here that Wayne said he'd scrap the album if it was leaked. Yet it was leaked and it's still going for a feb release. But leaking this version would give them an idea of how much interest the album is getting and to get us all into it a bit more. I think if this leak got poor reception then it would have been scrapped, but it hasn't so it's still on for a feb release.

9. Wayne now has huge hype for this feb version of the album as well as him going into jail and people worrying that we won't get any new songs from him to help, also notice that the leak came just a few days before WAYM was due to come out.

Only my thoughts on it so feel free to agree or disagree with me, but there are some very dodgy things going on with this leak

I didnt read through the thread so I dont know if this was said. But twist has the ustream dude on speed dial. Literally. He calls dude up during his ustreams and is like see 'such and such screen name' ban his ass.

Amazon aren't known for messing up like this lol, if they were don't you think a lot of people would know about it and big news companies would have picked up on it and been saying that they messed up again
