listen i am a diehard weezy f baby fan, i love no ceilings.. i love all of shit he drops...and he is still rapping at a very high level in 09-10', but to compare no ceilings to drought 3? you obviously don't understand the essence of hip hop period.
no matter how hard you want to argue it..the summer of 07' (Da Drought 3) was wayne at his absolute peak. his fucking prime. it was like jordan in 92', ali in 71', Mozart in 1780'......Lil Wayne was at his best in 2007 he was rapping out of his mind, he was on the hottest streak that any artist/musician has ever experienced. all real wayne fans will agree with me
nobody will ever rap as good as he did in the da drought 3, not even him
Nah this jail term will bring his prime out of him, mark my words, his mind will be cleared for the first time in his life, this nigga will be the greatest ever when its said and done. C4 will be epic, watch he scraps all the C4 songs hes working on now when he gets out with a whole new C4 in his head.
i totally agree. he has a year to just think about everything. 2011 will undoubtedly be lil waynes year again. carter 4 will be amazing and even weezy haters will like it.
"ashdgakg adwudgashdga askjdh how to love" — lil wayne
Yeah, even Wayne haters said No Ceilings was good. He's still got it in him, but his voice, flow, and everything is much different now. but see, speaking the truth to these guys is pointless, because they don't like any other rapper besides Wayne, and started listening to Lil Wayne off of songs like Lollipop, Mrs. Officer, and Got Money. One of you guys tell me, what is so great about Tha Carter III other than Mr. Carter, Tie My Hands, and maybe 3 Peat. Better yet, what is "hip hop" about Lollipop or Ms. Officer? "Crossover whatever, mainstream no"..Wayne said it himself on Tha Mobb. all half of Carter 3 is is mainstream crossover songs. His heat was cooled down because he got leaked so many times so he jumped to auto tune and catchy r&b songs.

Yeah, Wayne didnt pick songs for C3. I think he was pressured by the label to pick music that will sell alot. Crater 3 is full of songs that could be hits but it makes the album lack substance.
Wayne even said that he added a milli to the album last minute cuz he knows his fans like that. He knows what yall like but for C3 to be successfull as it was he had to appeal to everybody. We all thought he got softer untill No Ceilings. Dude is a monster right now.
Wayne August 05- Nov 06 is when he was at his best and that is where all the fire is.
Suffix Greatest Tape of all time at least for me.
Carter 2 2nd greatest album at least for me.
Carter 2.5 a sick tape with tracks like Hood rich, Cash Money Niggas, Birdman JR 2, Fireman Unreleased version and others.
Dedication 1 and Dedication 2 both had some amazing shit on them.
Like Father, Like Son to finish it off strong had some amazing songs that you can still listen to and even Birdman didnt sound that bad on it.
That is Lil Waynes best time and it has everything you need and want from him in there. 07 was nice but it is overated compared to this period.
His voice is still the same, on No Ceilings they turned his pitch up because on Nino Brown 2 his verse on Wasted sounded way better and his voice was normal.
PEOPLE KEEP TALKIN BOUT LIL WAYNE CHANGE HE STILL THEY SAME JUST WIT MORE TATZ AND HE WEAR SKINNY JEAN AND CHUCKZ DAMN GET OFF MII NIGGA DICK REAL T PEOPLE ARE HATER GET A DAMN LIFE YO MAD CUZ HE GOT MONEY AND YOU DONT WHY YOU WORRY BOUT HIM YOU SHOULD BE WOORY BOUT GETN YO MONEY AND MUSIC TOGETHER ..... REAL T BITCH
I like the old wayne better then the new one just because of his recent decisions he's been making in regards to music (Rebirth). I also like old wayne better cuz I just enjoy his old music more then his new music even though NC was good.
lol for those that say he didnt change he even said it him self... woke up one day and didnt feel like a rapper so there ya go case closed. lock this thread up.
LMAO his clothes and style was better back i nthe day so he was better?
I feel like I'm the only smart person on here.
Notice how you're the only one disagreeing with everyone? Wayne has changed. His rhythm has changed, his clothes have changed, his lifestyle has changed. Still, a 'true fan' like you say you are, has yet to notice him changed, clearly, you're the dumb one. You remind me of the kids at my old high school. "YO LITTLE WAYNES A BEAST, THAT SONG LOLLIPOP IS THE SHIT!" Point blank period, Wayne changed. It dont matter to me, but if he could go back, I'd say the old Wayne, Like i said, before superdick2 jumped on me.
