Name changes = Shouldn't be allowed

This shouldn't be allowed Danny? No one should be able to change there name, it ruins the point of reconistion in a community. People are just changing there names all the time, I barely reconise many people anymore. It also makes it harder to track and moderate rule breaking/trouble making members.

It's also pointless, if people couldn't choose a adequate name when they registered then thats their loss. Plus, it must be such a huge waste of your time? It also means people can try to prentend to be others, to annoy them, which causes confusion, forum fights and conflict.

Dunno what others think, because most of you have had your name changed, so I guess i'll be the only one agreeing to this tbh.

I have noticed some members have changed their name more than once, and some over 5 times. Are you really that indecisive that you can't pick a name and be happy with it?

On another forum I use they make you pay to change your username.

Yeah, I've been on a few where the only way to change it is via the forum shop for money. I just think it's stupid for all the reasons I posted, and I just think it shouldn't be allowed anymore..

I support this. The forum shop idea might be pretty cool for when we switch to vBulliten.

thats stupid let them change their name every 2 months i dnt see a problem, we have a name change thread where u reintroduce yourself i see no problem with it

I know there's a thread for it, and tbh people change there names way too often ever since that came in..it creates a incentive for people to change there name who probably wouldn't have if the thread wasn't introduced tbh/
