okay the problem pollack (empire) has, and the reason there hasn't been a REAL addition to the drought is over series in like 2 years (since pt. 6 dropped) is because the security over wayne's mp4 commodities has been extremely tightened.
the magic of drought is over pt. 2 was that pollack somehow found a leak in wayne's camp, and had inside leverage to gain access to "at that time" Carter III exclusives. now wherever that loose end was has been tied up, and he can't get any more lil wayne leaks, hence the reason for no drought additions in over 2 YEARS. they are a lot more careful on how they archive their mp4's compared to a couple of years ago..ONLY people who have access to those upcoming project files are engineers/producers (ky, mike banger) and YM/universal management (baby, mac) people who wayne is very very close too.
so basically pollack is just using the "drought" nostalgia and hype mechanism to keep him somewhat relevant in todays scene. he wants attention. there will most likely never be a 7th installment of our beloved drought is over series.
