Tha Studio Awards Idea Thread

Alright, as promised I made this thread, a little later than expected because I ended up working 11 hours today at work, but nonetheless it is here. Like I said in Tha Studio Index thread, this will be the thread for all ideas for the upcoming Studio awards. Below, are a couple ideal things I would like to know from the community, but feel free to speak your mind on anything.

• How often should they be held?
• What kind of awards would you like to see?
• What format would you want for the Awards?
• How should the voting go?
• And more

Sorry, I couldn't get to far into exactly what I want to see because I'm a bit busy, but you get the gist of what I'm looking for. Thanks and start discussing.

1. Studio awards, like twice a month would be cool!
2. All around artist award. Best song award. Best mixtape award. Most improved artist. Best collab. Best beat; if we can get some more producers. Best lyricist; it doesn't just have to be writings in the Writers Section, artists lyrics should be for this too.
3. Voting should be anyone can vote. Like a written voting. Just list who you think should win. I think if you are voted, you should be able to vote for yourself if you think you won as well. Making it where the voted people can't vote in that category would decrease votes I think. We'd just have to hope people would vote the right way, rather than just for themselves.
4. Bring back track of 'Track Of The Month' as well!

Yeah! Its actually the first of the month today!


Artille you think we could start the first track of the month some time like today or tomorrow possibly? If you need help organizing or anything, holla on MSN. But you could just start a thread, let people nominate any songs from the last month. Then take like maybe the top 5 nominations. And then make a poll for it? Could be something to help boost alittle activity over on this side of the forum...

Everything Noble said except the Best Mixtape award. People aren't dropping tapes here like they use to. We get at the most 2 a month right now. Best lyricist would be a great award cause we got some people in the studio really stepping it up. I'm also down for bringin back the track of the month.

That would be a great idea to have all of those. I would be very active in picking a winner. I love hearing hearing new artists and songs by new artists.

i think everythin that noble said is good except holdin studio awards only once a month bc i dont think twice a month is ognna give enough time for things to move like song sbe put out n stuff

Okay just the read the whole thread. I'm glad you guys are responding, shows that Tha Studio has made a lot of progress over the past six months. I would have done Track of the Month today, but I had to work. I can start it up next month for you if you would like. Also, I definitely won't be doing this twice a month, that is way too much. Once a month sounds good to me, but if we have a Mixtape of the Month award then I don't see that working honestly. Would you guys be mad about every 3 months for the awards? That would give time for people to release mixtapes and great tracks to come out.

I will definitely be adding in a Producer of the **** award as well, so Pestrator get those beats poppin . Keep the ideas flowing.

Okay just the read the whole thread. I'm glad you guys are responding, shows that Tha Studio has made a lot of progress over the past six months.
