No but CIII had so much hype even two years before it dropped. Because Wayne began to blow up and people were expecting a lot from him and now that he's done it big there isn't as much hype. Same with other rappers, Jay-Z, Eminem, 50 cent etc.

EDIT: I'm not saying it's not possible if they promote the crap out of it then we could see those numbers again.
