If Tha Carter IV drops soon, i will agree.
right now Wayne has NO hype. everyone was expecting a dope ass single from wayne when he got out.
3 weeks later we have two features. smfh.
also i think that if wayne drops another "Lollipop" type track he will get sales, but at the same time he will lose thousands of fans. everyone is sick of the mainstream shit. wayne needs to go back to Lights Out/Carter I/Carter II shit.
and like me and my dude THP850 discussed today. wayne's lyrics have fallen off bad.
all he focuses on anymore are punchlines.
99.9% of his lyrics Post Carter II have been like this

But still, record sales have gone down in the last couple years. I never said Youtube views had ANYTHING to do with sales. Just on how big Em's singles were, to be able to have the highest selling rap album since C3.

Em sold well becuz he is EM. His singles were trash besides the Rihanna song...which is basically her song. Kanye might outsell Eminem without any big singles and Wayne is more popular than Kanye.

Waynes was in jail for 8 months and you think he's still the most popular rapper in the US? Nope, gotta be Em' and Kanye right now.

Wayne being locked up decreased his hype definitely, yeah he released tracks/album but he was still locked up out of the public eye.

I'm not saying he isn't popular but he certainly ain't #1.

They all said it, Mack and them, 2010 was about Nicki And Drake and YM, even if Wayne werent in jail they had it planned Mack said. So obviously his hype is not gonna be amazingly huge.

Its a little early to be making predictions but personally I think if they advertise it and put a couple singles out and I mean good as singles like they did Carter 3 I think they could hit a mil. If it is as good as the Carter 3 was it will do it, at least i think it will.

Ever since Wayne got in prison I know a lot of people who lost interest in him. I see more people hearing to Em nowadays. So there's a slight chance that it would sell a million first week. They're gonna have to promote the album all around, maybe.
