YoungTune for YM Section Mod?

So I asked him if he'd like to do it instead and he agreed. I think he's really stepped up as far as being an important person on the board. With helping with the Awards as well as being one of the most active members on the board, he could make a good mod. He's also always online and he's one of the older members of the board so he knows the rules, most of the members etc.

Opinions?

He is also from the US which would help with spam issues....so are you saying you want to step down and you're happy for YT to replace you?

Only issue with this, in concern for the rest of the communities thoughts is that he was perm banned for a long time.

Yeah that's who I'd like to replace me lol. But I mean yeah he was banned but at the same time, isnt he working with some of the mods on something major for the board(the awards?). That kind of erases the ban if they already trust him with that.

I can honestly say I use to hate him and felt he was really immature, but I guess we all were at some point in time. Recently though, he has been more mature, active in the community, and delivered great ideas. I wouldn't have a problem with him being a mod, but I need to talk to Chronic and Danny about it first because from what I know Chronic isn't really interested in the idea (from when we last spoke about new mods), then again he isn't interested in me being a Global Mod anymore either, so we'll see what happens.

Nah ..i'm not up for it sorry, i'm up for an american mod definitely but not youngtune, need someone more neutral . Don't get me wrong, youngtune is a good kid but he can still be mad immature sometimes and dealing with forum awards is not a huge responsibility. It's a decent responsibility but not such a big deal.

For me right now its: skullcandy, lilwaynehq, shbasketball12, iGot5Onit, blownoffkush, chapweezy and me and wisheezy thinking of more names ..I say we get a group of 10 people ..then we contact them asking for why they should be picked for modship and they send it a little application make the picking process a bit easier.

Not an asumption, you said you can't and won't work with me anmore on Windows Live Messenger. Either way, Wisheezy for Global and that's all I care for as of now. If Gypsy wants to step down we can move Resistance to do both sections along with Wisheezy. Idk, we'll figure something out.

I'd be really cool with any of those to be honest. I most likely see Skullcandy, Shbasketball or blownoffkush who will likely to give us a good application response tbh because they seem to be pretty mature.

Also I spoke to Danny earlier and he says he will try to get on tomorrow/weekend for a big MSN convo for us all to discuss members etc. And maybe he will then install those plugins

But I think it's safe to say we all agree it HAS to be a U.S. moderator and HAS to be an active member.
