With approval from Artille, I have decided we needed to spice things up in this area of the forums. So how 'bout a cypher where all of us rappers can display our abilities? Well if you're interested, this thread is for you. I already have a beat picked out. Its from one of the 'big' cyphers that some of the 'Youtube rappers' took place in. Don't worry about the beat though, I picked it because I feel like its something we all can go over. There is no real topic of it either, so you can rap about whatever you want. I think this can be a good way for some of the rappers on here to gain some fans and listeners, while spicing things up and hopefully gaining some activity around this part of the forums. It'd be really cool if we could get a good number of people doing this. The cypher is just something for fun and whatnot, but I think we should have voting too. Maybe if enough people show interest and wanna participate, we can even get one of the Global Moderators to make the voting thread a sticky or announcement or something. So then it'll get more exposure. Plus more people participating equals more fun. So yeah, if you have any questions, ask away. Any suggestions, suggest below. And if you wanna participate, just comment below and let me know. Depending how fast this picks up, will depend how long I keep the time open where people can 'enter'. And please, if you say you'll be participating, please follow through with it. I don't wanna have all these people say they'll participate then half of them not!!! So now, get to commenting letting me know you'll be participating. :p

Tomorrow Until Tuesday - Will be when you will do your verse and PM me your complete cypher (Upload to Limelinx.com or Youtube.com, whichever you prefer).
Wednesday Until Sunday - Voting will take place.
Monday - Winner will be announced, along with the two other top voted participants.

Good question. Its all individual! Its a competition for best verse basically. Plus even if yours isn't the "best" verse, someone might like your verse and see you have talent and start checking out your music. So I mean, its something for fun and to help yourself out.

And I was thinking of maybe taking the 3 top voted verses (Depending on how many participants we get) and making like one song with them.

Yep its just one verse. 16 bars I do believe. So its really not much more than a hours work. Plus you could even add it to your mixtape as a bonus song or something if you want.

I wanna wait till post it 'til we get enough participants. It could be 3 days, could be a week. Just depends how long it takes till people start joining. I wanna wait 'til we get all of the participants though, so everyone has a fair chance of length to do their part. I mean, obviously I've heard the beat, but I haven't even started doing anything on it yet lol.

I may be down for it, but it just depends on how long it takes before this thing gets going, if it's 3 days I probably won't be able to cause of my jaw being fractured so it hurts like hell to rap or even talk, but if it's gonna get going in a couple weeks I should be able to do it. I just really can't commit with a yes but I will take part if I can
