First of all, i would like to say im a huge lil wayne fan and this is not a hater comment just a slight concern.
Recent tracks that Tune has been coming out with are surprising me. Wayne has always been known to have the best verse on a track and always go hard, recently it seems like hes slacking and ive been noticing repetition on his lyrics a lot (ex. Life is ???). C3 Wayne, the "syrup" era i call it was obv a much different wayne and he would have a different flow on each song making it unique. However, C4 has me worried. 6 foot 7 foot was amazing, a milli type of flow but i was expecting the next 2 singles to be like a pop song and a club banger (lollipop/got money) even though they are usually all club bangers. Then all of sudden we get "if i die/john" which was more of a lil wayne AND rick ross hit, not really a feature. Hopefully theres tracks that lil wayne recorded and just have not been released yet and hes goes hard but if this is what it is now it seems like a slight decline and a slight concern.
So i was just wondering if anyone else noticed a slight decline, this the shorter verses and repetitive lyrics? and you think this is just something for the time being or just a new wayne/era that were seeing
Once again, no hater comment just a concern by a weezy fan.
